A surprise awaits you…
Welcome to The Westward Motel. This four-room motel was originally built in 1942 but is fully restored into a refreshing, comfortable and quaint place for a memorable stay.
“A Jewel in the Desert” We are located in the heart of the Arizona Outback, a block from U.S. 60 in the town of Salome, in the beautiful McMullen Valley. The Westward Motel is situated between the Harquahala and Harcuvar Mountain Ranges, on Hwy 60 between Wickenburg and Quartzsite. The hills are full of old gold mines, history, peace, quiet, beautiful views, and wildlife.
Despite the retro feel, each room has satellite TV and Wi-Fi. But, chances are you’ll spend much of your visit relaxing on the veranda, savoring the soft desert morning. Each of the four quest rooms at the motel have been completely redone with plush beds, high-end linens, antique furniture and gas fireplaces. The fifth unit has been converted to a common room with full kitchen for guests.

“The rooms are clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The owner (Randy) is super friendly. There is no lodging in the area that even compares to the Westward Motel. I look forward to staying here again!”
